to post your first class
Go to the registration page at
http://findaclass.net/register.aspx and create your account. Soon
after, you will receive an email containing a link to activate your account and begin
posting. No credit card is required.
Free
90-day trial period
All new posters are eligible for a 90-day free trial.
During the free trial period, post as many classes and services as you
like! All classes will remain on the schedule for up to 90 days or until
they expire (whichever comes first).
How
much does advertising my classes and services cost?
All
posts are free during the 90-day free trial. After the free trial
period, you will be sent an offer to continue your current posts and
post new classes on FindaClass.net for only $60/year. This
one-year subscription includes all your class posts and the free
Directory listing.
Free
Directory listing
All new posters are eligible for a free listing in the
FindaClass.net
Directory which includes a link to your website and current FindaClass.net postings. After the free trial, your directory listing
can continue free.
How
does FindaClass.net differ from other sites?
One of
the
best things about FindaClass.net is its search function. With the ability
to search by location, date and category, your class and service offerings will no
longer get lost in a sea of postings. Seekers will easily find you with just a few clicks. And, at only
$60/year, it's a very
affordable yet effective means of advertising.
Help, I can't log in for the first time
When
you register for the first time, you will receive an email confirmation.
Inside that email is a link to Activate your account. Upon account
activation, you should be able to log in and start posting.
Can
I edit my class after I post it?
Yes.
Log onto your Account Manager at
http://findaclass.net/login.aspx and click on "Edit" next to your
class name to edit any details. After making your edits, be sure to scroll down and click
"Preview this Posting" and then "Publish It!" again, otherwise it will
remain in your list of Unpublished Classes.
Why
aren't my posts showing up?
When
you go in to edit one of your posts, be sure to scroll down, click
"Preview this Posting" and "Publish It!" again. Otherwise, it will not
show up on the FindaClass.net schedule and will remain in your list of
Unpublished Classes.
How
do I hide my posting during the run period?
Log
onto your account at
http://findaclass.net/login.aspx and click "Edit" next to your
class. Then click "Preview this Posting." At the bottom of the screen
choose "Save and Publish Later." Your posting will no longer appear in
FindaClass.net's search results, but will be saved for editing and
posting at a later date.
How
do I delete a post permanently?
Log
onto your account at
http://findaclass.net/login.aspx and click "Edit" next to your
class. Then click "Preview this Posting." At the bottom of the screen
click "Delete." Then, scroll down to the bottom of the screen
and click "Yes" where you see "OK To Delete? Yes No." Your
posting will be permanently removed from your account.
How
long can I save my Unpublished Postings on FindaClass.net?
Currently, unpublished postings can be saved indefinitely.
Posting Options

One Time Events: For one time events, such as a talk or
discussion, your post will run until your event occurs. So, if
you post your event on 9/1/10 and your event occurs on 9/20/10, your
post will run for 20 days and then expire.

Recurring Drop-in Events: For recurring drop-in events, such as fitness or
yoga classes that run over several weeks, enter the
class Start Date, End Date, Day(s) of the Week, and Time your
class occurs. Your post will appear in the search results by date
and time,
each day your class occurs -- not just once! You can opt out
of specific days (for example, if your class is canceled due to a
holiday), by using the Exclude Dates function. You can also add a
link to your class schedule.

Recurring Events Requiring Enrollment: For recurring events such
as Continuing Education class sessions or Summer Camp which require
enrollment, you can choose to have your class appear only on the
start date rather than each date it occurs if you wish. The
remaining class dates will appear on the class details page. Or,
for more visibility, you can have your post show each date your
class occurs and then hide your post as soon as your class
enrollment is full. It's up to you.

Classes by Appointment: For classes by appointment, such as
music lessons, tutoring, etc., enter the Date Range you are
available in the class Start/End Date fields. The Start Date is
the day you want your post to start appearing on the schedule, and
the End Date can be as far out into the future as you wish. Then the Days of
the Week you you want your posting to appear. For the most exposure,
you may wish to have your post appear each day of the week.
Categories

When you sign up for FindaClass.net, you can choose one category as
your primary service category. This is the category that will appear
next to your name in the Directory. When you post a class, you
can choose any one category you wish to place your class
under -- it does not have to be the same category as your Directory
category.
Short Names

All
posters can create their own Short Name which will provide a
direct link to only your classes
on FindaClass.net. Your short name can be used in email marketing
and business cards, social networking sites, your website and
correspondence. A sample short name would appear like this:
findaclass.net/?RAC ...and this link will take you
to a listing of all of YogaSpace's classes on FindaClass.net.
Directory Listings

All
posters will be listed in the
FindaClass.net Directory which
includes a website link, a link to current classes/services on FindaClass.net and primary service category. Directory Listings will
continue free for all FindaClass.net registrants. If you wish for
your listing not to appear in the directory, you can opt out.
How
are payments handled?

After your 90-day free trial
has expired, you will be sent an offer to continue
posting on FindaClass.net for one year at the current price of only
$60/year. If you choose "Yes" you will be taken to a PayPal
page to purchase a one-year subscription. If you choose "No,"
your current classes will just expire. Directory listings will
continue free.

PayPal and credit card payments are accepted.
What areas does FindaClass.net serve?

class postings on FindaClass.net are the sole responsibility of the
organization posting the event. FindaClass.net is not responsible
for inaccurate postings, canceled classes or events, changes in
locations or times, or the inability to access FindaClass.net due to
technical difficulties. We recommend that class participants contact
the poster directly to verify all event details before attending any
